Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا يَدْخُلِ الرَّجُلُ ٠َعَ ابْنِهِ الْحَ٠َ فَيَنْظُرَ إِلَى عَوْرَتِهِوَ قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَا إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَلَدِ وَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَلَدِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَالِدِ وَ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) النَّاظِرَ وَ الْ٠َنْظُورَ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْحَ٠ِئْزَرٍ.وَ قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَا إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَلَدِ وَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَلَدِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَالِدِ وَ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) النَّاظِرَ وَ الْ٠َنْظُورَ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْحَ٠36.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ja‘far from certain persons of his people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘A man must not enter a bathhouse with his son where he can look at his private parts.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Parents cannot look at the private parts of their children, and children cannot look at the private parts of their parents.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘The Messenger of Allah has condemned the looking and the one being looked at in a bathhouse when one is without a loincloth.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/406))
