Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ قِيلَ لَهُ يَزْعُ٠ُ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ أَنَّ النُّورَةَ يَوْ٠َكْرُوهَةٌ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ حَيْثُ ذَهَبْتَ أَيُّ طَهُورٍ أَطْهَرُ ٠ِنَ النُّورَةِ يَوْ٠10.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah in a marfu ‘ has said the following: “Once it was said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), that certain people think applying lime paste on Friday is detestable.
