Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ حَ٠َّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ دُهْنُ الْبَنَفْسَجِ يَرْزُنُ الدِّ٠8.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from Muhammad ibn Sawqah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Viola oil calms down the condition of the brain/” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/431))
