Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتاً فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَ لَا كَلْبٌ يَعْنِي صُورَةَ الْإِنْسَانِ وَ لَا بَيْتاً فِيهِ تَ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ‘Uthman from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said that Jibril has said, ‘We do not enter a house in which there are pictures, or a dog, that is, pictures of human beings or a house in which statues exist.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/438))
