Al-Kāfi - The Book of Domestic Animals الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ اخْتَارَ ٠ِنْ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ شَيْئاً اخْتَارَ ٠ِنَ الْإِبِلِ النَّاقَةَ وَ ٠11.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has chosen something from everything and from camels, He has chosen she-camels and from sheep He has chosen ewes.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/463))
