Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from an ibn Mahbub from Mu‘awiyah ibn Wahab who has said the following: “He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘Pigeons are the birds of the Prophets, ‘Alayhim al- Salam.”’ صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/467))
