Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: The Share of Children from the Legacy 4- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خِدَاشٍ الْ٠ِنْقَرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ وَأَخَاهُ قَالَ الْ٠4.

Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from ‘Abd Allah ibn Khidash al-Minqariy who has narrated the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the case of a man who dies and leaves behind his daughter and his brother.
