Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: The Share of Children from the Legacy َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ ٠َاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ وَعَ٠َالُ لِلابْنَةِ وَلَيْسَ لِلْعَ٠ِّ شَيْ‏ءٌ أَوْ قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلْعَ٠َعَ الابْنَةِ شَيْ‏ءٌ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘The legacy belongs to his daughter and there is nothing for the uncle, aunt’, or that he (the Imam) said, ‘There is nothing for the uncle with the existence of the daughter.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (23/133))
