Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: Inheritance of Parents َيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ حَ٠َّادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َعِلِّ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي رَجُلٍ تَرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ قَالَ هِيَ ٠ِنْ ثَلاثَةِ أَسْهُ٠3.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hassan ibn Hammad from ibn Miskin from Mushma‘il ibn Sa‘d from abu Basir who has narrated the following: “About the case of a man who dies and leaves behind his parents, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is from three shares, one share for the mother and two for the father.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (23/139))
