1.Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhassin ibn Ahmad from Aban ibn âUthman from âIsmaâil al-Juâfiy who has narrated the following: âAbout the case of a woman who leaves behind her husband and parents, abu Jaâfar (a.s.), has said, âThe share of the husband is one-half, the share of mother is one-third and the remaining belongs to the father.â About the case of a man who leaves behind a wife and both parents, he (the Imam) said, âThe share of the wife is one-fourth, the share of the mother is one-third and the remaining belongs to the father.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (3/147))
