Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad ibn âUthman and Jamil ibn Darraj from âIsmaâil ibn âAbd al-Rahman al-Juâfiy who has narrated the following: âI once heard abu Jaâfar (a.s.), saying, âThe grandfather distributes the legacy with brothers in equal shares, no matter whatever the number of brothers is.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (23/165))
