Abu Ali al-Ashâariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn âAbd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Mansur ibn Hazim who has narrated the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âA contracting slave inherits proportionate to the amount he has paid.ââ (The above form of contracting is a contract between a slave and his master, which is an agreement that requires the slave to pay a certain amount to become free.
