Abu Ali al-Ash âariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn âAbd al-Jabbar from Safwan from al-âAlaâ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following: âAbout the case of a man who testifies falsely and upon his repenting, abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âHe must pay for the assets that are gone due to his false testimony, like one-half or one-third if another one has testified with him.ââ ØµØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (4/227))
