Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn âIsmaâil from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has narrated the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about an accuser who is convicted and subjected to penalty and about what his repentance is. He (the Imam) said, âHe must call his soul a liar.â I then asked, âIf he calls his soul a liar and repents, is then his testimony acceptable?
5 He (the Imam) said, âYes, it then becomes acceptable. 5 â جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (24/251))
