Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Tsmaâil ibn Marrar from Yunus from certain persons of his people who has narrated the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who accuses married woman: if his testimony after his being subjected to penalty and his repenting is admissible. He (the Imam) said, âYes, it is admissible. 5 I then asked, âWhat is his repentance?
5 He (the Imam) said, âHe comes before the Imam and calls his soul a liar and says that he had fabricated against so and so and retracts what he had said, 555 جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (4/253))
