Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-âAbbas ibn Maâruf from abu Shuâayb al-Muhamiliy al- Ri fa Ay who has narrated the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who forms a contract with another man. It requires him to dig a well of ten heights of a man deep for ten dirhams of which he digs one height and could not do the rest.
Abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âHe deserves one part out of fifty- five parts of a ten dirhams.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (24/292))
