Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: About the words of Allah ‘condemned are the unbeliever israelites…’ (5:78) ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلا٠) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ٠ِنْ بَنِي إِسْرائِيلَ عَلى لِسانِ داوُدَ وَ عِيسَى ابْنِ ٠َ قَالَ الْخَنَازِيرُ عَلَى لِسَانَ دَاوُدَ وَ الْقِرَدَةُ عَلَى لِسَانَ عِيسَى ابْنِ ٠240.

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra’ab, from Abu Ubeyda Al-Haza’a, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah (asws) regarding the Statement of Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic: “[5:78] Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium”. He (asws) said: ‘The pigs, by the tongue of Dawood (as), and the monkeys, by the tongue of Isa Bin Maryam (as)’.
