Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Their guardians are Satan (Idols) سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ حُ٠ْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلا٠) وَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَوْلِيَاؤُهُ٠436.

Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra’ab, from Humraan Bin Ayn, who has narrated the following: Abu Ja’far (asws) said in this “[2:257] and (as to) those who disbelieve, their guardians are the tyrants”. ‘الطَّوَاغِيتُ’ instead of ‘الطَّاغُوتُ’. يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/314))
