One of them is like a human being who asks God for the daily bread of Adamâs offspring (the people). The second one is like a rooster who asks God for the daily bread for birds. The third one is like a lion who asks God for the daily bread for beasts. The fourth one is like a cowwho asks God for the daily bread for quadrupeds. The cow that carries Godâs Threshold has held his head down due to shame, since the Israelites worshipped a calf.
