Al-Khiṣāl - Part 12: On Twelve-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: The Twelve Caliphs and Divine Leaders after the Prophet 12-43 حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله قال: حدثنا ٠د ابن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب، عن الحسن بن ٠حبوب، عن أبي الجارود، عن أبي جعفر عليه السلا٠، عن جابر بن عبد الله الانصاري قال: دخلت على فاط٠وبين يديها لوح فيه أس٠اء الاوصياء فعددت اثني عشر أحده٠12-43 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’ed ibn Abdullah quoted Muhammad ibn al-Hussein ibn Abil Khat’tab, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Mahboob, on the authority of Abil Jarud, on the authority of Abi Ja’far al-Baqir (MGB), on the authority of Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, “I went to see Fatimah (MGB) and there was a Tablet in front of her on which the names of the Trustees was inscribed.

There were twelve of them with the twelfth one being the Riser (MGB). Three of them were named Muhammad and three of them were named Ali.”
