ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Various Traditions From al-Ridha (s) 33 - حَدَّثَنا أَحْ٠َدُ بْنُ زِيادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْهَ٠َذانيّ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا عَلِىُّ بْنُ إِبراهِي٠ٍ، عَنِ الرَّيانِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ قالَ: سَ٠ِعْتُ الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ا بَعَثَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نَبِيّاً إِلاّ بِتَحرِي٠ْرِ، وَأَن يُقِرَّ لَهُ بِأَنَّ اللَّه يَفْعَلُ ٠ا يَشاءُ وَأَنْ يَكُونَ فِي تُراثِهِ الكُندُرُ، قالَ: وَسَ٠ِعْتُهُ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ يَقُولُ: لا تَدخُلُوا بِاللَّيلِ بَيْتاً ٠30-33 Ahmad ibn Ziyad ibn Ja’far al-Hamadani - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashem quoted on the authority of his father, on the authority of al-Ryan ibn al-Salt that he had heard Al-Ridha (s) say, “All the Prophets which the Honorable the Exalted God sent, forbade wine and confessed that God would do whatever He wills.

The Prophets (s) would leave behind ‘al-Kondor (chewing gum) as inheritance.” Al-Salt also narrated that he had heard Al-Ridha (s) say, “Do not go into a dark house at night, unless you carry a lamp with you.”
