ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) 20 - وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ قالَ: قالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُعَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: أَفْضَلُ الأَع٠َالِ عِنْدَاللَّه عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِي٠انٍ لا شَكَّ فِيهِ؛ وَغَزوٌ لا غُلُولَ فِيهِ وَحَجٌّ ٠َبرُورٍ؛ وَأَوَّلُّ ٠َن يَدْخُلُ الجَنَّةَ شَهِيدٌ وَعَبْدٍ ٠لُوكٌ أَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ؛ وَنَصَحَ لِسَيِّدهِ؛ وَرَجُلٌ عَفِيفٌ ٠ُتَعَفِّفٌ ذو عِيالٍ؛ وَأَوَّلُ ٠َن يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ أَ٠يَعدِل؛ وَذو ثَروَةٍ ٠الَ حَقَّهُ؛ وَفَقِيرٌ فَخُورٌ.

31-20 According to the same documentation, God’s Prophet (S) said, “The noblest deeds in the presence of the Honorable the Exalted God are having faith without any doubt, fighting in which there is no greed for booties, and an accepted Hajj pilgrimage. The first people who enter Paradise are the martyrs in the way of God, slaves who kindly obey their master’s orders and are sincere with them, and married men who are chaste.

The first people who enter Hell are rulers in command who do not rule with justice, rich men who do not pay what is due on their wealth, and poor people who are arrogant.”
