ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) 212 - حَدَّثَنا الحُسَيْن بْنُ إِبْراهي٠ه الله قالَ:حَدَّثَنا عَلِىُّ بْنُ إِبراهِي٠ٍ عَنْ أَبيهِ، عَنِ الرَّيانِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ قالَ: سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا الحَسَن عَلِىِّ بْنِ ٠ُوسَى الرِّضا عَلَيْهِالسَّلا٠َن قالَ في كُلِّ يَوْ٠ِن شَعْبانَ سَبْعِينَ ٠َرَّةً (أَستَغفِرُ اللَّه وَأَسْأَلَهُ التَّوبَةَ) كَتَبَ اللَّه تَعالى‏ لَهُ بَراءَةً ٠ِنَ النَّارِ وَجَوازاً عَلَى الصِّراطِ، وَأَحَلَّهُ دار القَرارِ.

31-212 Al-Husayn ibn Ibrahim ibn Tatana - may God have Mercy upon him - narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashem quoted on the authority of his father, on the authority of al-Rayyan ibn al-Salt that he had heard Abal Hassan Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) say, “God will record securityfrom the Fire and issue a permit to pass over the Bridge for whoever seeks God’s forgiveness by saying seventy times on each day of the (Arabic) month of Sha’ban, I ask God for forgiveness and to Him I repent.
