Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid (RA) said: al-Husayn ibn al-Husayn ibn Aban said, on the authority of al-Husayn ibn Sa`id, on the authority of al-Nadr ibn Suwayd, on the authority of `Asim ibn Humayd, on the authority of Abu Basir that Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS) said: âWhoever claims that Allah, the Mighty and High, is from something or in something or on something, then he has certainly disbelieved.â I said: âExplain that to me.â He (AS) responded, âI refer to a person who claims that He is contained by something, that He is restrained by something, or that He is preceded by something.â
