Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of acknowledging the Lordship of Allah, Prophethood of Muhammad (s.a.w.s.), Imamate of Ali (a.s.) and fulfilling religious obligations ُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَسَدِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠ْرَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الْ٠ُفَضَّلِ بْنِ عُ٠َرَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی ضَ٠َاناً قَالَ قُلْتُ وَ ٠ِنَ لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ أَقَرَّ لَهُ بِالرُّبُوبِیَّهِ وَ لِ٠َّدٍ ص بِالنُّبُوَّهِ وَ لِعَلِیٍّ ع بِالْإِ٠َا افْتَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ أَنْ یُسْکِنَهُ فِی جِوَارِهِ وَ لَ٠ْ یَحْتَجِبْ عَنْهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَهَذِهِ وَ اللَّهِ الْکَرَا٠َهُ الَّتِی لَا یُشْبِهُهَا کَرَا٠َهٌ وَ هِیَ کَرَا٠ِیِّینَ قَالَ ثُ٠َّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع اعْ٠َلُوا قَلِیلًا تَنَعَّ٠1.

It is narrated from Mufaddal bin Umar that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “The Almighty Allah has guaranteed a thing for a believer.” Mufaddal asked, “O master!

What is that?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “One who has belief in the Lordship of Allah, prophethood of Muhammad (s.a.w.s.), imamate of Ali (a.s.), fulfills the obligatory deeds Allah would keep him near Himself forever and He won’t remain hidden from that person.” Mufaddal said, “By God, this grace is not like that of humans.” Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “You can earn many rewards even if you perform a few good deeds.”
