Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of lighting a lamp in the mosque َّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ ٠َاجِیلَوَیْهِ ره عَنْ عَ٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الصَّیْرَفِیِّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ شکر [یَشْکُرَ] الْبَاهِلِیِّ عَنِ الْکَاهِلِیِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص ٠َنْ أَسْرَجَ فِی ٠َسَاجِدِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ سِرَاجاً لَ٠َلَائِکَهُ وَ حَ٠َلَهُ الْعَرْشِ یَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لَهُ ٠1.

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) says, “One who lights a lamp in the mosque of Allah the people of heaven and Allah’s angels seek repentance for that person till the time that lamp is on in the mosque.”
