Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of a fast in the month of Shaban أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ سَعِیدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُ٠َهَ صَاحِبِ السَّابِرِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی الصَّبَّاحِ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ صَوْ٠ُ شَعْبَانَ وَ رَ٠َضَانَ وَ اللَّهِ تَوْبَهٌ ٠6.

It is narrated from Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) that he said, “By Allah, the fasts of Shaban and Ramadan are like repenting before Allah.”
