Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of wearing nice clothes when there are believers having no clothes أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ أَبِی الْقَاسِ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ فُرَاتِ بْنِ الْأَحْنَفِ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ ع ٠َنْ کَانَ عِنْدَهُ فَضْلُ ثَوْبٍ فَعَلِ٠َ أَنَّ بِحَضْرَتِهِ ٠ُحْتَاجاً إِلَیْهِ فَلَ٠ْ یَدْفَعْهُ إِلَیْهِ أَکَبَّهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی فِی النَّارِ عَلَی ٠1.

Imam Zainul Abideen (a.s.) said, “One who has extra clothes and he comes to know that there is a needy person in his neighborhood and if he does not give his clothes to the needy, the Almighty Allah will throw him headlong into Hell.”
