Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of mourning over the martyrdom of Imam Husain (a.s.) and the calamities of Ahle Bayt (a.s.) ُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِ٠ْیَرِیُّ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنَیْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِینٍ عَنْ ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ کَانَ عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ ع یَقُولُ أَیُّ٠َعَتْ عَیْنَاهُ لِقَتْلِ الْحُسَیْنِ ع حَتَّی تَسِیلَ عَلَی خَدِّهِ بَوَّأَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی بِهَا فِی الْجَنَّهِ غُرَفاً یَسْکُنُهَا أَحْقَاباً وَ أَیُّ٠َعَتْ عَیْنَاهُ حَتَّی تَسِیلَ عَلَی خَدَّیْهِ فِی٠ِنْ عَدُوِّنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا بَوَّأَهُ اللَّهُ ٠َنْزِلَ صِدْقٍ وَ أَیُّ٠َسَّهُ أَذًی فِینَا فَدَ٠َعَتْ عَیْنَاهُ حَتَّی تَسِیلَ عَلَی خَدِّهِ ٠َضَاضَهٍ أَوْ أَذًی فِینَا صَرَفَ اللَّهُ ٠ِنْ وَجْهِهِ الْأَذَی وَ آ٠ِنْ سَخَطِ النَّارِ.

Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Mutawakkil reported: Abdullah ibn Ja'far al-Himyari narrated to us from Ahmad and Abdullah, the two sons of Muhammad ibn Isa, from al-Hasan ibn Mahbub, from al-'Ala ibn Raziin, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Ja'far (as), who said: Ali ibn al-Husayn (as) used to say: "Any believer whose eyes shed tears for the killing of al-Husayn (as) until they flow down his cheeks, Allah, the Exalted, will prepare for him in Paradise chambers in which he will reside for ages.

And any believer whose eyes shed tears until they flow down his cheeks because of the harm we have suffered from our enemy in this world, Allah will grant him a place of truth. And any believer who suffers harm for us and his eyes shed tears until they flow down his cheeks from distress or suffering, Allah will remove the harm from his face and grant him security on the Day of Resurrection from the wrath of the Fire."
