Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of reciter of the Holy Quran ُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیُّ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی بْنِ عُبَیْدٍ عَنْ سُلَیْ٠َانَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ ٠ُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع ٠َنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ غَنِیٌّ وَ لَا فَقْرَ بَعْدَهُ وَ الأ٠1.

Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “The reciter of the Holy Quran is rich; there is no misery for him and one who does not recite the Holy Quran is not rich.”
