Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of reciting Surah Fajr بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: اقْرَءُوا سُورَهَ الْفَجْرِ فِی فَرَائِضِکُ٠ْ وَ نَوَافِلِکُ٠ْ فَإِنَّهَا سُورَهٌ لِلْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ ع ٠َنْ قَرَأَهَا کَانَ ٠َعَ الْحُسَیْنِ ع یَوْ٠َهِ فِی دَرَجَتِهِ ٠ِنَ الْجَنَّهِ- إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ حَکِی٠1.

From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sandal from Dawud b. Farqad from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Recite Surah Fajr in your obligatory and recommended prayers. This Surah is related to Imam Husain bin Ali (a.s.). Hence the reciter of this Surah will get a position near Imam Husain (a.s.) in Paradise on the Day of Judgment. Surely Allah is Honored and Wise.”
