Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of freeing a Muslim slave أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ رِبْعِیٍّ عَنْ سَ٠َاعَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص ٠اً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِکُلِّ عُضْوٍ ٠1.

Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “One who frees a Muslim slave for the sake of Allah for each part of the body of that slave, the Almighty Allah will keep a part of his body safe from the fire of Hell.”
