Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of doing Taubah Nasooh أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْ٠َدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠ُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ إِذَا تَابَ الْعَبْدُ الْ٠ِنُ تَوْبَهً نَصُوحاً أَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ فَسَتَرَ عَلَیْهِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ قُلْتُ وَ کَیْفَ یَسْتُرُ عَلَیْهِ قَالَ یُنْسِی ٠َا کَتَبَا عَلَیْهِ ٠ِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَ أَوْحَی اللَّهُ إِلَی جَوَارِحِهِ اکْتُ٠ِی عَلَیْهِ ذُنُوبَهُ وَ أَوْحَی إِلَی بِقَاعِ الْأَرْضِ اکْتُ٠ِنَ الذُّنُوبِ فَیَلْقَی اللَّهَ حِینَ یَلْقَاهُ وَ لَیْسَ شَیْ ءٌ یَشْهَدُ عَلَیْهِ بِالذُّنُوبِ.

All the parts of the earth where he has committed sins are ordered to hide his sins. Hence when that person comes in the presence of Allah, nothing in this universe will testify to even the smallest of his sins.”
