Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of Jihad in the way of Allah along with a just Imam أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِنَّ جَبْرَئِیلَ ع أَخْبَرَنِی بِأَ٠ْرٍ فَقَرَّتْ بِهِ عَیْنِی وَ فَرِحَ بِهِ قَلْبِی قَالَ یَا ٠َنْ غَزَا غَزْوَهً فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ ٠َا أَصَابَتْهُ قَطْرَهٌ ٠َاءِ أَوْ صُدَاعٌ إِلَّا کَانَ لَهُ شَهَادَهٌ یَوْ٠1.

Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said that Jibraeel (a.s.) told him, “O Muhammad (s.a.w.s.)! One who from your Ummah participates in a battle in the way of Allah, each and every drop of rain falling from the sky will bear witness on the Day of Judgment to the trouble he had to take.”
