My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Saâd b. Abdillah who raised it to Hisham b. Salim who said: The narrator asked Imam Jaâfar Sadiq (a.s.) about one who imprecates Ali (a.s.).
Imam (a.s.) replied, âI swear by Allah that it is permissible to kill him however doing so should not become a cause of death of an innocent human.â The narrator asked, âHow can it become a cause of the death of an innocent?â Imam (a.s.) replied, âThe death of that infidel should not be retaliated by the death of a believer.â
