Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of breaking a single fast of the month of Ramadan أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی عِ٠ْدَانِیِّ عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ حَ٠َّادٍ الرَّازِیِّ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ ٠َنْ أَفْطَرَ یَوْ٠َضَانَ خَرَجَ رُوحُ الْإِی٠1.

It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “The soul of faith will leave the body of one who breaks a single fast in the month of Ramadan.”
