Chapter: The Rewards and the Merits of Establishing Prayers in the Mosque of Kūfah and the Mosque of Sahlah َّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ ٠َتٍّ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عِ٠ْرَانَ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَدِيدِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَ٠ْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَ٠َالِيِّ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) أَتَى ٠َسْجِدَ الْكُوفَةِ عَ٠َدِينَةِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُ٠َّ جَاءَ حَتَّى رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ وَ أَخَذَ الطَّرِيقَ 1.

Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Mat Al-Jawhari narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā ibn ‘Imrān, from Aḥmad ibn Ḥasan, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from ‘Ali ibn Ḥadīd, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, from ‘Amr ibn Khālid, from Abī Ḥamzah Al-Thumāli, who said: ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Sajjād (a.s.)) left Madīnah with the sole purpose of going to the Mosque of Kūfah. He prayed two Rak’ah and then left. He mounted his camel and went on his way.
