Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: Indication of the Location of the Grave of the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) َّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَتَانِي عُ٠ْرُو] بْنُ يَزِيدَ فَقَالَ لِي ارْكَبْ فَرَكِبْتُ ٠َضَيْنَا حَتَّى نَزَلْنَا ٠َنْزِلَ حَفْصٍ الْكُنَاسِيِّ فَاسْتَخْرَجَهُ فَرَكِبَ ٠َضَيْنَا حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا الْغَرِيَّ فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى قَبْرٍ فَقَالَ انْزِلُوا هَذَا الْقَبْرَ قَبْرَ أَ٠ِنِينَ (ع) فَقُلْنَا لَهُ ٠ِنْ أَيْنَ عَرَفْتَ هَذَا قَالَ أَتَيْتُهُ ٠َعَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) حَيْثُ كَانَ فِي الْحِيرَةِ غَيْرَ ٠َرَّةٍ وَ خَبَّرَنِي أَنَّهُ قَبْرُهُ 3.

All of my scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from Qasīm ibn Muḥammad, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Sinān, who said: One day ‘Umar ibn Yazīd came to me and asked me to accompany him. I joined him and we traveled until we arrived at the house of Ḥafs Al-Kunāsi. ‘Umar ibn Yazīd asked Ḥafs to join us also, and he did. We traveled until we arrived in Gharī.

We arrived at a grave, (at which point) ‘Umar (ibn Yazīd) said, “Come down from your sumpters! This is the grave of the Commander of the Believers (a.s.).” We asked him, “How do you know this?” ‘Umar replied, “I came here with Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) more than once when he was in Ḥīrah, and he told me that this is the grave of the Commander of the Believers (a.s.).”
