âAli ibn Ḥusain ibn MÅ«sÄ narrated to me from âAli ibn IbrÄhÄ«m ibn HÄshim, from his father, from âAli ibn Ḥakam, from SulaymÄn ibn NahÄ«k, who said: AbÅ« âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)) explained the verse, âAnd we gave them both refuge on a mound, where there was rest and security, watered by a springâ (23:50). He (the Imam (a.s.)) said, âMoundâ refers to Najaf of KÅ«fah and âspringâ refers to the Euphrates (River).â
