Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Ziyārah of Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) by the Prophets َّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحِ٠ْيَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ ٠ٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَ٠َّادٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ قَبْرُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ص) عِشْرُونَ ذِرَاعاً فِي عِشْرِينَ ذِرَاعاً ٠ُكَسَّراً رَوْضَةٌ ٠ِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَ فِيهِ [وَ ٠َلَائِكَةِ إِلَى السَّ٠ُقَرَّبٍ وَ لَا نَبِيٍّ ٠ُرْسَلٍ إِلَّا وَ هُوَ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَزُورَهُ فَفَوْجٌ يَهْبِطُ وَ فَوْجٌ يَصْعَدُ 3.

Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from his father, from Hārūn ibn Muslim, from (‘Abdillāh ibn ‘Amr) ibn Ash’ath, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ḥammād Al-Ansāri, from Ibn Sinān, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) say: The boundaries of the grave (Ḥaram) of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) are twenty ells by twenty ells, and this location is a garden from the gardens of Paradise. The ascent of the angels toward the heavens begins from here.

Every high-ranked angel and every prophet, who was chosen as a messenger, asks Allāh (at all times) for permission to go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.). (There is always) a crowd descending (from the heavens to go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.)) and a crowd ascending (back).
