Chapter: The Reward for the ZiyÄrah of Ĥusain (a.s.) Is Equal to the Reward for Performing a Hajj and an âUmrah 1 ØÙدÙÙØ«ÙÙÙ٠جÙعÙÙÙر٠بÙÙÙ Ù ÙÙد٠بÙÙ٠إÙبÙرÙاÙÙÙ٠٠بÙÙ٠عÙبÙÙÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙÙ Ù ÙÙسÙ٠بÙÙ٠جÙعÙÙÙر٠عÙÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙ٠أÙØÙÙ Ùد٠بÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ Ù ÙÙد٠بÙÙ٠أÙبÙ٠عÙÙ ÙÙÙر٠عÙÙ٠اÙÙØÙسÙÙÙÙ٠اÙÙØ£ÙØÙÙ Ù٠سÙعÙÙد٠اÙÙØ£ÙØÙÙ ÙسÙÙÙÙØ©Ù ÙÙاÙÙت٠سÙØ£ÙÙÙت٠أÙبÙا عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) عÙÙ٠زÙÙÙارÙØ©Ù ÙÙبÙر٠اÙÙØÙسÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) ÙÙÙÙاÙ٠تÙعÙدÙÙÙ ØÙجÙÙØ©Ù Ù٠عÙÙ ÙÙ٠اÙÙØ®ÙÙÙر٠ÙÙÙÙØ°Ùا ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙØ°Ùا Ù٠أÙÙÙÙ 1.
Jaâfar ibn Muḥammad ibn IbrÄhÄ«m ibn âUbaydillÄh ibn MÅ«sÄ ibn Jaâfar narrated to me from âAbdillÄh ibn Aḥmad ibn NahÄ«k, from Muḥammad ibn AbÄ« âUmayr, from Ḥusain Al-Aḥmasi, from Um SaâÄ«d Al-Aḥmasiyyah, who said: I asked AbÄ âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)) about (the reward for) going to the ZiyÄrah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.).
Imam (a.s.) replied, âIt is equal to one Hajj and one âUmrah and this much reward.â Um SaâÄ«d added that the Imam (a.s.) stretched open his arms and closed them (three times).
