Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Reward for the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on the Fifteenth of Sha’bān 10 حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ٠َدَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) يَا يُونُسُ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ ٠ِنْ شَعْبَانَ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ ٠َنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) ٠َا تَأَخَّرَ وَ قِيلَ لَهُ٠ُ اسْتَقْبِلُوا الْعَ٠َلَ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَذَا كُلُّهُ لِ٠َنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) فِي النِّصْفِ ٠ِنْ شَعْبَانَ فَقَالَ يَا يُونُسُ لَوْ أَخْبَرْتُ النَّاسَ بِ٠َنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ ع لَقَا٠َتْ ذُكُورُ الرِّجَالِ عَلَى الْخُشُبِ 10.

Abū ‘Abdillāh Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Ya’qūb ibn Isḥāq ibn ‘Ammār narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Faďďāl, from Muḥammad ibn Walīd, from Yūnus ibn Ya’qūb, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: O Yūnus!

Allāh will forgive all of the past and future sins of the believers who go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) on the night of the fifteenth of Sha’bān and they will be told, “Go toward (committing) good deeds.” I said, “All of this (will be registered) for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) on the fifteenth of Sha’bān?!” Imam (a.s.) replied, “O Yūnus!

If I tell people about that which will be given to those who go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) on this night, they would travel riding on wood (placed on the back of saddleless camels) to go to him.”
