المناقب لابن شهرآشوب قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ ص وَ لَهَا يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً وَ سَبْعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَ عَاشَتْ بَعْدَهُ اثْنَيْنِ وَ سَبْعِينَ يَوْماً وَ يُقَالُ خَمْسَةً وَ سَبْعِينَ يَوْماً وَ قِيلَ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَ قَالَ الْقُرْبَانِيُّ قَدْ قِيلَ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً وَ هُوَ أَصَحُّ (The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub – ‘The Prophet -saww passed away and on that day, there were eighteen years seven months for her (Syeda Fatima -asws ), and she -asws lived after him -saww seventy-two days.
And it is said, ‘ Seventy-five days ’. And it is said, ‘Four months’. And Al Qurbany said, ‘And it has been said forty days, and it is most correct. وَ تُوُفِّيَتْ ع لَيْلَةَ الْأَحَدِ لِثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَبِيعٍ الْآخِرِ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ مِنَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَ مَشْهَدُهَا بِالْبَقِيعِ وَ قَالُوا إِنَّهَا دُفِنَتْ فِي بَيْتِهَا وَ قَالُوا قَبْرُهَا بَيْنَ قَبْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ مِنْبَرِهِ.
And she -asws expired on the night of Sunday of the tenth night vacant from the month of Rabbi Al-Aakhir of the eleventh year from the Emigration, and her -asws monument (grave) is at Al-Baqie (cemetery). And they said she -asws was buried in her -asws house. And they said her -asws grave is between the grave of Rasool-Allah -saww and his -saww pulpit’’.
[2] أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْخَزَّازُ الْقُمِّيُّ فِي الْأَحْكَامِ الشَّرْعِيَّةِ سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ مَنْ غَسَّلَهَا فَقَالَ غَسَّلَهَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ صِدِّيقَةً وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُغَسِّلَهَا إِلَّا صِدِّيقٌ Abu Al-Hassan Al Khazzaz Al Qummi in (the book) ‘Al Ahkam Al Sharie’ – ‘Abu Abdullah -asws was asked about (Syeda) Fatima -asws , of her -asws washing.
He -asws said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen -asws washed her -asws because she -asws as a truthful (Siddiqa), and no one could have washed her -asws except a truthful (Siddiq)’. وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع قَالَ عِنْدَ دَفْنِهَا السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَى آخِرِ مَا سَيَأْتِي نَقْلًا مِنَ الْكَافِي وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا صَارَ بِهَا إِلَى الْقَبْرِ الْمُبَارَكِ خَرَجَتْ يَدٌ فَتَنَاوَلَتْهَا وَ انْصَرَفَ.
And it is reported that Amir Al-Momineen -asws said during her -asws burial: ‘The greetings be to you -asws ’ – up to the end of what I (Majlisi) shall be coming with, copying from Al-Kafi. And it is reported that when he -asws came with her -asws to the Blessed grave, a hand emerged and grabbed her -asws and left ’’.
