فَافْتَرَقْنَا فَلَمَّا فَرَغْتُ مِنَ الطَّوَافِ وَ أَرَدْتُ...

فَافْتَرَقْنَا فَلَمَّا فَرَغْتُ مِنَ الطَّوَافِ وَ أَرَدْتُ الرُّجُوعَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِي جَعَلْتُ طَرِيقِي عَلَى سُوقِ الطَّعَامِ وَ إِذَا أَنَا بِهَا جَالِسَةً فِي مَعْزَلٍ عَنِ النَّاسِ فَأَقْبَلْتُ عَلَيْهَا وَ اعْتَزَلْتُ بِهَا وَ أَهْدَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا هَدِيَّةً وَ لَمْ أَعْتَقِدْ أَنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ We separated. When she -ra was free from performing the Tawaaf and I wanted to return to my house, I made my way to the food market, and there I was with her -ra seated isolated from the people.

I faced towards her -ra and gave a gift to her -ra , and I -ra did not believe that it was charity. ثُمَّ قُلْتُ لَهَا يَا فِضَّةُ أَخْبِرِينِي عَنْ مَوْلَاتِكِ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ ع وَ مَا الَّذِي رَأَيْتِ مِنْهَا عِنْدَ وَفَاتِهَا بَعْدَ مَوْتِ أَبِيهَا مُحَمَّدٍ ص Then I said to her, ‘O Fizza -ra ! Inform me about my chieftess, Fatima Al-Zahra -asws , and what is that which you -ra have seen from her -asws during her -asws expiry, after the death of her -asws father -saww Muhammad -saww ’.

قَالَ وَرَقَةُ فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ كَلَامِي تَغَرْغَرَتْ عَيْنَاهَا بِالدُّمُوعِ ثُمَّ انْتَحَبَتْ نَادِبَةً وَ قَالَتْ يَا وَرَقَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ هَيَّجْتَ عَلَيَّ حُزْناً سَاكِناً وَ أَشْجَاناً فِي فُؤَادِي كَانَتْ‏ كَامِنَةً Waraqa said, ‘When she -ra heard my speech, her -ra eyes overflowed with tears, then she -ra lamented calling out and said, ‘O Waraqa Bin Abdullah! You have agitated the calm grief upon me -ra and have saddened my -ra heart which was latent.

فَاسْمَعِ الْآنَ مَا شَاهَدْتُ مِنْهَا ع اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهُ افْتَجَعَ لَهُ الصَّغِيرُ وَ الْكَبِيرُ وَ كَثُرَ عَلَيْهِ الْبُكَاءُ وَ قَلَّ الْعَزَاءُ وَ عَظُمَ رُزْؤُهُ عَلَى الْأَقْرِبَاءِ وَ الْأَصْحَابِ وَ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ وَ الْأَحْبَابِ وَ الْغُرَبَاءِ وَ الْأَنْسَابِ So, listen now what I -ra have witnessed from her -asws .
