And rather, the exclaiming of the Takbeers therein is more than what is in other days, from the Salat, because the exclamation of the Takbeer, rather, it is a reverence of Allah -azwj , and Glorification upon what He -azwj has Guided and Pardoned, just as Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic Said: and that you should exclaim the Greatness of Allah for His having Guided you and that you may give thanks [2:185] .
And rather, twelve Takbeers have been made to be therein because there happens to be in two Cycles (of Salat) twelve Takbeers; and Made seven to be in the first and five to be in the second, and did not Equate between the two, because the Sunnah in the Obligatory Salat is that you open with seven Takbeers.
Therefore, due to that, you begin over there with seven Takbeers.
And He -azwj Made five Takbeers to be in the second (Cycle) because the Prohibition from the Takbeers during the day and the night, is five Takbeers, and for the Takbeers to happen to be in the two Cycles together, once, once’.
[15] Here, the سُرُوراً ’ (joy) is meant to thank Allah -azwj for enabling us to Fast and observe the condition of Fasting and for the Forgiveness from Allah -azwj for those sins which were committed due to our slips and is certainly not the kind of ‘joy’ which Muslim exhibit on the Eid day.
