O alas, if only I had obeyed my Lord -azwj !’’ [19] – وَ قَالَ ع‏ أَنْتُمْ فِي مَهَلٍ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ أَجَلٌ وَ مَعَكُمْ أَمَلٌ يَعْتَرِضُ دُونَ الْعَمَلِ فَاغْتَنِمُوا الْمَهَلَ وَ بَادِرُوا الْأَجَلَ وَ كَذِّبُوا الْأَمَلَ وَ تَزَوَّدُوا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ هَلْ مِنْ خَلَاصٍ أَوْ مَنَاصٍ أَوْ فِرَارٍ أَوْ مَجَازٍ أَوْ مَعَاذٍ أَوْ مَلَاذٍ أَوْ لَا- فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ‏ And he -asws said: ‘You are in a respite (opportunity), from behind it is death, and with you are hopes as obstacles in the way of actions, therefore take advantage of the opportunity, and rush to the death, and belie the hopes, and provide from the deed, is it from salvation, or escape, or fleeing, or Reward, or excuse, or shelter, or not?

Why are you being deluded?’’ [20] Momin is given the shortest Respite: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَبْدِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ مِنْ عَبِيدِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَيُذْنِبُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ مِمَّا يَسْتَوْجِبُ بِهِ عُقُوبَتِي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ فَأَنْظُرُ لَهُ فِيمَا فِيهِ صَلَاحُهُ فِي آخِرَتِهِ فَأُعَجِّلُ لَهُ الْعُقُوبَةَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا لِأُجَازِيَهُ بِذَلِكَ الذَّنْبِ وَ أُقَدِّرُ عُقُوبَةَ ذَلِكَ الذَّنْبِ Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Abdul Aziz Al Abady, from Ibn Abu Yafour who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah -asws saying: ‘Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic is Saying: “The servant from My -azwj Momin servants commits the grievous sin from what Obligates My -azwj Punishment by it in the world and in the Hereafter.
