21ـ زيادَةُ الشَّـرِّ دِناءَةٌ ومَذَلَّةٌ.
21ـ زيادَةُ الشَّـرِّ دِناءَةٌ ومَذَلَّةٌ. Counter evil with good. 22ـ ضادُّوا الشَّـرَّ بِالخَيْرِ. Obedience to the calls of the wicked corrupts the outcome of matters. 23ـ طاعَةُ دَواعِي الشُّـرُورِ تُفْسِدُ عَواقِبَ الأُمُورِ. He who embarks on evil is successful in attaining it. 24ـ ظَفِرَ بِالشَّـرِّ مَنْ رَكِبَهُ. The doer of evil is worse than the evil [itself]. 25ـ فاعِلُ الشَّـرِّ شَـرٌّ مِنْهُ. Doing evil is a [means of] revilement. 26ـ فِعْلُ الشَّـرِّ مَسَبَّةٌ.
None shall be punished for an evil act except its doer. 27ـ لَنْ يَلْقى جَزاءَ الشَّـرِّ إلاّ عامِلُهُ. There is nothing worse than evil except its retribution. 28ـ لَيْسَ بِشَـرّ مِنَ الشَّـرِّ إلاّ عِقابُهُ. There is nothing more corrupting for affairs or more destructive to the community than evil. 29ـ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أفْسَدَ لِلأُمُورِ، ولا أبْلَغَ في هَلاكِ الْجُمْهُورِ مِنَ الشَّـرِّ. He who does not wear the gown of good has not disrobed from evil.
30ـ لَمْ يَتَعَرَّ مِنَ الشَّـرِّ مَنْ لَمْ يَتَجَلْبَبِ الْخَيْرَ. One who plunges into the depths of evil meets with danger [and adversity]. 31ـ مَنِ اقْتَحَمَ لُجِجَ الشُّرُورَ لَقِيَ المَحْذُوْرَ. One who does evil has [actually] transgressed against his soul. 32ـ مَنْ فَعَلَ الشَّـرَّ فَعَلى نَفْسِهِ اعْتَدى. One whose evil is too much, [even] his companion is not safe from him. 33ـ مَنْ كَثُر َ شَـرُّهُ لَمْ يَأمَنْهُ مُصاحِبُهُ. Whoever abandons evil, the doors of good are opened for him.
34ـ مَنْ تَرَكَ الشَّـرَّ فُتِحَتْ عَلَيْهِ أبْوابُ الْخَيْرِ. One who lays the foundation of evil cause has [actually] instituted it against himself. 35ـ مَنْ أسَّسَ أساسَ الشَّـرِّ أسَّسَهُ عَلى نَفْسِِهِ. One who provokes a latent evil, in it will be his own destruction. 36ـ مَنْ أثارَ كامِنَ الشَّـرِّ كانَ فيهِ عَطَبُهُ. One who harbor’s evil feelings [and ill will] for others has actually harmed himself. 37ـ مَنْ أضْمَرَ الشَّـرَّ لِغَيْرِهِ فَقدْ بَدَأَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ.
Whoever strips his heart of evil, his religion is secured and his conviction is confirmed. 38ـ مَنْ عَرى مِنَ الشَّـرِّ قَلْبَهُ سَلِمَ لَهُ دينُهُ، وَصَدَقَ يَقينُهُ. One who does not know the harmfulness of evil is not capable of desisting from it. 39ـ مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ مَضَرَّةَ الشَّـرِّ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ علَى الاِمْتِناعِ مِنْهُ. One who repels evil with good, triumphs? 40ـ مَنْ دَفَعَ الشَّـرَّ بِالخَيْرِ غَلَبَ. One who hates evil is safeguarded [from it]. 41ـ مَنْ كَرِهَ الشَّـرَّ عُصِمَ.
One of the greatest deceptions is making evil appear good.
