Al-Kāfi - The Book on Virtue of Knowledge Chapter: Chapter on the Need for the Existence of a Divine Authority in the World and the Seriousness of this Matter 2ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ ٠َ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا وَآلِهِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعُلَ٠َاءِ السَّوْءِ كَيْفَ تَلَظَّى عَلَيْهِ٠2.

Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated from Abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Jesus son of Mary (a.s.) said, ‘Woe to bad scholars! If only they knew how raging fire will engulf them.’” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/152))
