Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Imams (a.s.) are the Sings of whom Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, has spoken in the Holy Quran 2ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَسْبَاطِ بْنِ سَالِ٠ٍ قَالَ سَأَلَ الْهَيْثَ٠ُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) وَأَنَا عِنْدَهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَلا٠ْ يَهْتَدُونَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) النَّجْ٠2.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from MuAlia ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Asbat ibn Salim who has said that Haythamm asked Imam abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.), while I was there, about the meaning of the words of Allah, “Through the signs and with the star people do find their way.” (16:16) The Imams (a.s.) said, “Star is the Messenger of Allah (s.a) and the signs are the Imams (a.s.)” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/413))
