Chapter: Mentioning the name of Allah and Tahmid (All Praise Belongs to Allah) over the Food Ø£ÙØ¨Ù٠عÙÙÙÙÙ٠اÙÙØ£ÙØ´ÙØ¹ÙرÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ Ù ÙÙØ¯Ù بÙÙÙ Ø¹ÙØ¨Ùد٠اÙÙØ¬ÙبÙÙØ§Ø±Ù عÙÙ٠صÙÙÙÙÙØ§Ù٠عÙÙÙ Ø¯ÙØ§ÙÙØ¯Ù بÙÙÙ ÙÙØ±ÙÙÙØ¯Ù ÙÙØ§ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙØªÙ ÙÙØ£ÙبÙÙ Ø¹ÙØ¨Ùد٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ ( عÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³Ùا٠ÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ·ÙÙØ¹Ùا٠٠ÙÙØ§ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙØ§ÙÙ Ø¥ÙØ°Ùا Ø§Ø®ÙØªÙÙÙÙÙØªÙ اÙÙØ¢ÙÙÙÙØ©Ù ÙÙØ³ÙÙ Ù٠عÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙ٠إÙÙÙØ§Ø¡Ù ÙÙÙÙØªÙ ÙÙØ¥ÙÙÙ ÙÙØ³ÙÙØªÙ Ø£ÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ³ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙ ÙÙØ§Ù٠تÙÙÙÙÙÙ Ø¨ÙØ³Ù٠٠اÙÙÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ٠أÙÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙ Ø¢Ø®ÙØ±ÙÙÙ.
He (the Imam) said, âIf the dishes are more than one, then you should mention the name of Allah on each one.â I then asked, âWhat happens if I forget mentioning the name of Allah?â He (the Imam) told me to say, âIn the name of Allah at its beginning and at its end.ââ ØµØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/110))
